Plusnet do not and never have got involved with Wi-Fi issues.  That is down to the user as Wi-Fi performance is heavily affected by the user's environment - building construction, neighbouring Wi-Fi networks, other devices using same part of spectrum such as baby monitors, poorly shielded microwave ovens, etc.
This is the same for all ISPs unless it one of the few that provide their own mesh network setup that you have signed up to use and pay for.
You can easily see if issues are due to Wi-Fi or your internet connection to the router.  You use a device plugged into the router and see if the problems go away.

Not entirely true. There’s been a long running thread on the +net forums regarding WiFi disconnecting.

There is an available push to update certain routers, which has helped numerous hundreds of subscribers.

They do seem to have a WiFi issue, but are actively trying to solve it.
It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....

If it is a fault with their equipment then yes they will be looking in to it.  General Wi-Fi issues that are nothing to do with a faulty ISP supplied kit are nothing to do with the ISP.

Switched to fibre (FTTC) from ADSL2 yesterday. Set everything up on the Hub One but quickly found that devices connecting with the 5GHz signal  had very poor range and disconnected frequently. Switched off 5GHz radio and everything is now working fine on 2.4GHz band.
My Hub One appears to still have the "problematic" firmware 4.7.5.1.83.8.263

Disconnecting may be due to rain.  Before you roflol about 8 months ago there was an openreach engineer diving into the conncetions beneath via the BT cover in the pavement and I asked whether he was installing Fibre to premises - unfortunately not.  He was however 'doing something' to make sure rain did not interrupt services.  Now I can feel the skeptism but I had been having odd disconnects and since the intervention - none.
    I have fibre to cabinet.

Thanks. Looked at the thread. Seems you have to be a qualified tech person or broadband nerd to be a plusnet customer. Instead of just switching on and using the service like with other providers. Woeful that thread is from the end of 2019 and it’s STILL going on!
