We can visit the EA in person, not sure will it make any difference though as likely get the same response which is they will chase the vendors and get back to us, which they never do.
That's ok. Go at 9am and say you will wait. Take a book.
:#  I really hope it doesn't come to that!  Not sure I would remain calm long enough for a response :D
  • If you posted them a letter they may have a mail redirect set up so they would get it eventually (rather than hand delivering a note?)

    Just an update here.......
EA have said they spoke to vendors and vendors have handed all paperwork to their solicitors, both have said they will chase solicitors. Had to ring/email EA 4 days in a row to get this far.

Our solicitors have chased theirs for the paperwork without response and then asked the EA if they can chase vendors. EA then came back with some paperwork that was returned weeks ago has been misplaced. No info on what paperwork or where it was/who misplaced it.

However we have now found out that the vendors son also works for the EA at a different office.  Feel like we are getting the run around here and not being told the actual reason for the delay.

Give them a timescale to show some movement or you'll pull out. Its about the only leverage you have. And start looking elsewhere as well. Maybe their ongoing purchase has run into problems

If it's none of your business you'll never know.  Little point in dreaming up conspiracy theories. All you can do is set ultimatums and stick to them.
  • You have only a few options

    squeal like a piggy
squeal like a pig and threaten pull out
squeal like a piglet and actually pull out
    just pull out no squeal
shut up and take it (if you just want this particular house)

    best of luck,
