National Tyres and Autocare

I got to national for puncture repairs, that's all. Basically their voucher stuff, I tried to get alignment done, they said the tie rods and innter tie rods are seized and they would need to change them, they quoted close to £300 for both inner tie rods and tie rod ends. which is super expensive. I got the wheels aligned from a private company who was able to get the rust off and realign the tie rods no problems.
The prices they quote at the counter is massively expensive. Their online prices are so much cheaper. same tyres, at the counter they're £200 for a pair, if you book them online theyre £140.

I'd say the opposite with Kwifit, I'd say they're rarely competitive.
It's not unknown for them to be as cheap as Black Circles or even cheaper, but it's rare.
And, of course, with Kwikfit you have to go to their depot (or pay extra for mobile fitting).
Whereas black circles have such a massive chain of garages at their disposal that most would be able to find one very close to their home/work.
Even around where I'm sitting right now, I can choose 6 different Black Circles garages within a 2 mile radius, and two of them are an easy walk.
It's 5 miles to the nearest Kwikfit.0 -
Nat Tyres fitted my rear box on the exhaust system ,good value ,cheaper than Europarts at the time and the price included fitting ,only a couple of miles from the house .1

National are a fast-fit chain. No more, no less.
The service you get is going to be as good as the slightly-above-minimum-wage "fitter" that does the work. It's really not rocket science fitting tyres to rims.
At least they don't have the "manufactured up-selling" rep of certain rivals... Probably because they don't really have any headline reputation at all.0
