Is it just me or has the first post from today, showing a copy of the bill, vanished?

You are certainly quite a high day time user  - about 6000 kWh ; difficult to say about night time at you use heating but the last month was 600 kWh

So what uses do you have daytime - electric showers perhaps ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

We do have a electric shower which is used 5/10 minutes in the morning the odd bath.

We have 3 storage heaters that have been turned off for the last 2 weeks and we were only using 1 before that.

We watch TV ect in the evening with use of the oven and the usual bit of gaming charge phones ect.

Use the tumble dryer washing machine twice a week.

Just basic stuff tbh we only have a one bed flat.

We put on a oil filled heater for a hour or so on a cold evening but that's not very often.

Stop using the instantaneous electric shower on expensive daytime rates and get one that uses hot water from the tank that's only heated overnight on the lower rate.

Prime suspects are anything that heats.  From the list:

    Electric shower
    Tumble drier
    Washing machine
    Electric oven, hob, kettle

    Other suspects:

Immersion heater left on during the day
    Electric underfloor heating (in bathroom?)
    Hot tub (hugely expensive)
Fridge or freezer with faulty seal.

    Hi everyone quick update.
Did a burn test to check meter and it's definitely ours.

I've made a few discovery's our current storage heaters were using way more electricity than they should have been. They are extremely old and in need of updating. They will be switched off permanently as after doing some speaking on the phone to bulb they were costing us around 3/4 pounds a night even on low input.  Pushing are yearly estimated cost to 3300 pounds

After taking daily readings I found our night use was barely changing without the storage heaters on. Which i found odd considering we have a immersion heater which is set to warm up at night.

It's set up on a very old timer so I'm thinking it's heating the water in the late evening instead of over night which would help explain high day usage.

We have a new washing machine that's no longer 30 years old in the flat which has been set to wash at night. And wifi plugs for tumble dryer ect.

And bulb have raised there prices by 30 percent. So will be moving supplier very soon again one that can fit a economy 7 smart meter so I can see what's costing the most.

Hopefully my next update will be with a reasonable monthly bill.

Don't do anything rash with regard to these storage heaters, age alone doesn't cause excessive consumption and new storage heaters are not inherently more efficient than old ones.
Certainly don't fall for any of the 'snake oil' adverts for new efficient heaters from the likes of Fischer etc.

Very wise advice, post after post about these sort of heaters, for some reason people just don't seem to "get" it as to why there not inherently much,or any better than the box of bricks.
Questionable marketing, slimmer, prettier, easy to fit, fancy apps on phones and other generally unnecessary high techery may well explain that somewhat.
How many posts of help me,I removed NSH's and now I've got massive bills and a freezing house, because of it are needed?.
