Sort code 30-60-91 which bank?

If it's historic, it will almost certainly be Lloyds Bank as TSB didn't use 30 sort codes pre LloydsTSB merger.

Thanks but definitely 30-60-91dcs34 said:30-91-60 is Lloyds Canterbury, sure you don't mean that one?0 -
Hi at a guess I would say probably opened sometime between mid/late 80s to mid 90s.RG2015 said:
I guess this is just curiosity regarding something you have found rather than anything specific. This, I can understand.BubblesOFun said:thank you all for your help, it’s much appreciated and has given me ideas of which paths to take to carry on looking into this.
I opened my first bank account in about 1973 but have no record of the account number. I know the bank branch and sort code but that is all. Twice, when I moved, I transferred to a new local branch with the same bank. No one has any records of the earlier accounts. I know it doesn't matter, but I would like to know exactly when the account was opened.0 -
Sorry, but I was actually referring to my old account. It is, however useful to get some context for your enquiry.BubblesOFun said:

Where did you see this sort code, was it on a letter or official document, perhaps?0 -
As other posters have alluded to - Banks very rarely decommission sort codes.Instead, they usually reallocate them to an adjacent branch or to a centralised office.0

In the mean time if anyone else knows please leave a message. As previously asked - "Where have you got this number from, and why do you need to know? "It will help people to help you if you provide as much info as possible. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Lloyds Bank Taunton Direct Business Centre
It may never had had customer accounts and may have been for internal use only.0 -
I've got a 2010 sort-code book somewhere...if I can locate I'll post.0
