What do the children tell you that they get out of the clubs?  Are they actually keen and benefiting or is it just what they do on Tuesdays?
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

    Pay direct if you can!
I say this purely because I know of a dad who was asked to pay half the fees of a club. Which he paid! Only to find out six months down the line the child did two sessions  and didn't enjoy it. Yet mum kept taking half the fees!!!!

Not all.mum's are like this, but just be aware!

Only pay if she is sensible with her finances. From what you have described, she clearly isnt so NO
