Garage Parking Master Race

How many people here garage their cars? Any tips you've learned over the years squeezing in without damaging anything? We have a garage, property built circa 1980. We have a 2008 Jaguar XF and a 2003 W211 Mercedes E55. The Jag doesn't fit. Flat out doesn't fit, centered properly and the wing mirrors closed in they touch…

Buy 1980s cars
Round my way, most of the garages are attached to 30s housing so everything lives on the drive.

The only 80s car I'd consider buying is a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth and I doubt that'd take much less space than an E class
