Day 16- 2 rings lady picks up, presenter ask how she is and lady replies ok thanks.Lady says at home working and dog sitting for parents who are out for the day. Presenter asks does lady know why he is ringing and lady says he is calling for the competition. Presenter says only 4 more calls to make, and asks lady her plans I think he said for rest of 2021. Lady says her plans are rest of summer is work and she works for NHS I think lady said trainer or trainee therapist.
Lady gives correct £92,000.00p amount and wins. Lady says to presenter seriously, this is not a I think she said joke. Presenter says true she has won and lady says she is shaking and probably tell her parents first about win when they get back. Presenter says she could mention win to dog, perhaps a cheeky meal to celebrate and lady agrees and says thank you to presenter.
Presenter says 3 more chances to win.
£323,666.68p - still left to win (I calculated this figure)9 -
Gotta be £100k for the rest of the week surely! I wonder if they will do that thing on Friday where they keep calling until someone picks up2
-
Hi Hollbeach, totally agree with you and as Jazmeen posted with £506,000 on Friday still to be won I was puzzled why on Monday and today amounts were £91k and £92k and not £100k every day this week.1
-
I wouldn't take the "£1m Cash Register" amount too literally - I'm sure that if nobody won any day this week until Friday, they wouldn't be giving away the £506k to one person just to get to £1m - they'd just extend the comp again like they have before.
I don't think it was a round £1m when they first ran this comp was it?
Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20102 -
No I mean I think on the last day of the competition or on a few of the Fridays they called until someone picked up.
Yes I guess it would probably be extended, its probably a big easy money maker for them1 -
I should have quoted the post I was replying to - I was replying to this one from Bridger12

Day 18- Presenter says £2.7m won last couple of months on cash register.3 rings gents picks up, says where he lives too fast, and says you are joking really ringing, is this a windup. Presenter says not a wind up and do not put phone down he is really ringing from £1M cash register. Gent says getting ready for a wedding, I think he said with picking suit gone mad with shoes says cannot remember name of people wedding is. Presenter says if gent wins he can give a nice gift for wedding.Gent says he is shaken and gives correct £95,000.00p and wins. Gent says oh my god are you serious when told won
Presenter says 1 more day left and tomorrow it is a £100,000.00p guaranteed - presenter says even if he has to make 100 phone calls.£228,666.68p left to win (I calculated this figure) but tomorrow it is £100,000.00 guaranteed winner and last day10 -
The million £ cash register which was under a million! What a con for those that paid to enter!2

It went past £1m a few weeks ago and they extended it. Based on Bridger12's calculation they've paid out nearly £1.8m with a further £100k due today.
Obviously like most lotteries it's a rip-off for the huge majority of paying customers, but there's nothing misleading in calling it million £.3
