What happens if I enter more than 60 times? Are any calls above 60 merely ignored, or will it mean a total ban for all previous calls?

The 61st call, you get a message telling you you've reached the limit for this round of the competition. 

The 62nd+ calls, it just cuts you off.

You cannot physically enter more than 60 times (unless you're actively trying to, like using a different phone number). 

Ergo, your previous calls are safe.

Just to add that using a different number to gain more tham 60 entries is against the rules. It's 60 entries per person not per mobile number.

Still 60 for me, anymore it just tells me the person I'm trying to call is unavailable.

Do you mean 5 entries per text?    If they changed it to multiple texts per entry it would cost a fortune to enter, and most likely put people off doing so...
