How long will the change of address take to reflect on credit report?

Does anyone know how long it will take?
I moved into my new place on 31st March and that’s when I updated via the gov website for the electoral roll.
My local authority sent a confirmation letter but my electoral roll information on the credit reports are my old address still.

A lot of council update on December/Jan so it could be a while if that's the case with yours.
Contact the CRAs to see to they will accept alternative evidence, or if your council can do a manual update.0 -
I moved two months ago and I'm still waiting.
Nationwide and IXL Premfina (car insurance premium finance provided with my Marshmallow car insurance) are the slowest to update, still reflecting at my previous address. Everyone else has updated (Three, Zopa, BISL Finance (home contents insurance premium finance)) already.
The electoral role information still isn't updated. The local authorities confirmed that they have us down as moving in March but the credit reference agencies aren't updating their data.
I discussed with Experian over the weekend and they confirmed that they can see the new ER data but that they won't manually update my credit file to accurately reflect what the local authorities have on file because they have an automated process.
Basically, it's a rubbish, antiquated slow system that seems more akin to how things were processed in the 19th century but there's not anything we can do about it, so just have to shrug it off and check back in June.0 -
When I moved a few years back my council updated the electoral roll on their normal December schedule, however as my mortgage, bank accounts, utilities etc. were at the new address it did not have an impact, especially as financial organisations will take account of the known update schedules. That being said I have also not taken out any new credit in the three years since I moved so it would not matter anyway.0

I moved end of February and the process has been quite messy. The CRAs keep sending me alerts about bank accounts closing - probably because they don't match the address they think I'm at.
Equifax has my new address as a previous address and doesn't have me on the electoral roll. MSE credit club has me on the electoral roll at my new address, but still thinks I stay at my old address. I got a statutory report from Equifax and discovered a couple of communication accounts still at my old address, despite changing one of them previously.
I'm sure it will all work itself out in the wash. Thankfully I'm not looking for any credit, although the address shenanigans are less likely to be a problem than the fact I currently have no income. If I want anything expensive in the next wee while, I'm going to be forced to pay for it.0 -
We moved in September and I registered for electoral roll within a week. It STILL hasn't shown with CRAs. I'm getting really frustrated with it. I've spoken to the council and got a letter of confirmation and they've said they've sent all the info and essentially not their problem.0

Yeah I confirmed with the council yesterday and they said the info was sent to CRAs on 4th May but said they couldn’t comment on how long they would take to update.0

I've got a formal letter from the local authority confirming our registration on the ER which I've forwarded to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion as a formal dispute and request for inaccurate information to be corrected under the DPA.
So far EQ and TU have flat out ignored me beyond an automated email acknowledging receipt of my request.
Experian started by replying with something along the lines of "we can see your amended ER information, but don't you worry sir your credit file will automatically update with this information in due course..."
To which I replied with something akin to "thank you for confirming that the information on my credit file is inaccurate and out of date. You have an obligation under the DPA to manually correct the inaccurate data save leaving me open to the possibility of identity theft at my old address".
Their latest reply to this was "oh we are sorry to hear you have been the victim of identity theft but don't worry we are forwarding this query to our identity theft division who will help protect you against that happening again".
Suffice it to say my latest reply to them was less friendly.
They're all being reported to the ICO if they haven't updated my ER data within 28 days of my originally forwarding proof of my registration to vote from the local authority.1 -
I moved at the end of November and reregistered on the electoral roll the day I moved in. Still not updated on Transunion or Equifax. Equifax removed all my financial accounts as a result (still have me registered at my old address but obviously I've changed my address on all my accounts). Experian updated my report with a few weeks.0

Royal Mail have my address one way, which means 97% of companies have it that way eg building and flat. It was only the council and land registry who had it the old Scottish way of doing tenement addresses; the latter has been updated to the RM address as has one of my neighbours. The utility companies just had it as a block number and no individual flats (saga in itself, but eventually got resolved after a year with me repeatedly showing proof from the RM site).
One by one all my financial providers updated the CRAs and only at that point a single CRA twigged I'm on the ER, but took a while; two say I'm still at my old rental. While I could provide proof of the other way my address is done, it will then mean all my credit history potentially vanishes which would be worse as I hope to remortgage next year.
You've not long moved, everything is still slow due to the pandemic.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
I've had some traction with Experian.
After a multitude of emails geeing them on they updated the ER information.
So now apparently I'm registered to vote twice at my current address, one under my correctly spelled name, and one under a mis-spelled name with a mis-spelled address, and on top of that I'm still registered to vote at my old address apparently!
Equifax have added a Notice of Correction to my file (which I didn't ask them to), but not actually corrected the data despite my having sent them proof from the local authority of my registration to date.
Trans Union are still all quiet on the western front.
I don't take "The Pandemic" as an excuse any longer. I was working for the NHS during Lockdown #1 and we had over 500 admin staff in our trust trained and working safely / effectively from home within two weeks of March 23rd last year. I personally delivered over 125 socially distanced one-to-one training sessions to staff on the new PCs we'd built specially for them to take home and worked throughout the lifecycle of the operation to ensure they continued to be able to operate effectively from the comfort of their home.
It's easy.
No organisation has an excuse for mistreating our data in this fashion.0
