We use Airband which gives around 30 Mbps most of the time

Yes, this happened to me.  SamKnows said that FTTC was available, and we knew FTTC was available from the sellers.  But when I tried to use the "move house" option with BT, they insisted that only copper ASDL was available.

After I raised a complaint (for this and other issues), they identified an error in their IT system and corrected the upgrade to a fibre one.

cooners here are a few options:
1. get a new gf
2. try 4g wi-fi, huawei router off fleabay £40 and a Smarty unlimited data sim card
3. stop playing games and pay more attention to the current gf
4. at least with no broadband the federation of copyright theft wont be on your case with your dodgy servers lol
