Should a price be honoured by company?

Hello,
I have an issue regarding a recent online purchase that I made and would really appreciate some advice as to where I stand with this matter?
I made a purchase on March 29 with the company tennis point and the transaction went through fine and full payment of £178.90 was taken from my account.
After one month I had not received my order so found myself chasing the company to find out what was going on. As a registered customer when looking at my account the order stated in progress.
When I finally got to speak with a customer service advisor I was quite bluntly told that there was a mistake with the price displayed on the website and the order had been cancelled although I never received any cancellation advice.
I have emailed the company asking that they honour the price originally advertised when I placed the order and they have wasted no time or effort to decline my request.
This is very frustrating as far as I am concerned when I made the purchase I entered into a contract with the company to fulfil the order.
At no point did I receive any cancellation advice or anything to tell me they had made a pricing error. Furthermore I had to chase the company many times and didn't receive a full refund until 4/5/2021 yet they were happy to take my money on back on 30/3/2021
You will see that I have attached two pictures of reference.
Any help or advice in this matter would be very much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Rich.

Did they send you an order confirmation at all?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
What does their website say about the formation of the contract?0

Obvious mistakes don't need to be honoured, there are literally thousands of examples of this.
One of the key consideration of a contract is "consideration" https://hallellis.co.uk/contractual-consideration/#:~:text=What is Consideration in Contract, contract to be legally binding.
In this case did they ever consider pricing the items at the advertised price? No there was a mistake in the pricing so the contract wasn't properly formed,
There is a lot more to a contract than just paying the advertised price.1 -
Did you get an order confirmation?
The fact you took pictures of the screen makes me think you knew the price was questionable?
FYI there are plenty of screen grab tools available.
Windows has the built in snipping tool.
No need for inferior pictures of screens

So it depends how obvious the price error was.0 -
Contract wasn't formed because several of the clauses were not met. Most importantly they didn't post the goods out.2

There's different laws regarding online purchases against retail shop ones. I believe online purchases have more consumer protection but I could be wrong.OP, you can't force these scoundrels to fulfil the contract but you can force them to reimburse you. You then have the option to publish their terrible customer service on social media.0

£330.90 was 34% off list.
£188.90 was 62% off list.
You also seem to have a £10 reduction on that.
All things considered you're to be put back into the position you started from.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your replies.
Firstly I can confirm that I was sent an order confirmation email. Having ordered from this company on a number of occasions previously I can honestly say that they do reduce prices quite heavily especially when new lines are introduced. This particular item has been superseded so my initial thought was they were clearing stock.
Yes of course I thought I was getting a great deal but I didn't think at the time it was an obvious pricing error. Had the items been advertised for let's say under £100.00 then yes I would have.
My grievance is that they have lied by telling me they cancelled the order immediately and sent me conformation which they didn't. Had they of done so surely the payment that was taken would have been refunded instantly and not one month later only after I started to question what was happening with the order.
Thanks,
Rich.
