We have had a Carron bath for 23 years, and it’s still excellent.

This one at 1650 is £250, including shipping. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
A lot depends on what size you are or how far you like to slide down. You could fill the smaller one with a slim shelf to put your - well whatever you have in the bathroom.I had a small bath in a caravan, it was actually lovely. Saves on water and I didn't keep sliding down the bath. I could relax.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Someone's linked to several perfectly well priced ones by a respectable brand. I wouldn't want to spend any less, tbh, or you're likely to end up with a flimsy, creaky bath. And get the plumber to deal with the waste properly. There's no reason why the waste needs to be on show at all, boxed in or not. It should either pop straight out the wall to outside, or run under the bath.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I measured 1685mm between walls, plaster to plaster so I found a 1685mm bath to fit.

I don’t quite understand the comment about measuring allowing for tiling. I would put the bath in, then tile down to it. So, the tiles overlap the top of the bath. Is that not how it’s done these days?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
