I too have a black FD debit card (main account), green JLP card, a further black FD debit card, a black Jaja card and a gold credit card. (Yes I know about the gold card, but I got it when I was young and naive).
I get around this problem by using different slots in my wallet. This has 3 slots for cards. The 1st slot is fir my most used cards; the green JLP card and the black FD cards. No confusion there.
2nd slot is for the remaining 3 cards. Not so easy to spot the differences, so I have to try harder but I rarely use the cards in the 2nd slot anyway.

Anyone with a smartphone can use the free version of Curve to manage their cards. You can name your cards, and you can give them different colours. You can also, once, move a purchase from one card to another - useful if you used the wrong card by mistake.

You will only need the Curve card to make your actual purchases - so you don‘t even have to take your various debit and credit cards out of the house, and you only have to remember one CVV, and one PIN (assuming you use different PINs).

I have been using Curve for months now - it‘s working as advertised - simply great. I don‘t even take the physical Curve card out if the house now, as I now use ApplePay everywhere.

The only proviso is that if you want/need Section 75 cover, you need to use your credit card directly.
