Debt collectors

Hello sorry couldn’t find anywhere to put this on the forum so please advise if I need to move it. 

I am needing advice on debt collectors what they can do. 

Background son owes debts he has moved out 15 months ago no contact address we are not speaking.  Debt collectors have been three times now ( I am not sure if it’s different companies ) one visited at 6 am yesterday morning. They say because his car is registered at my address they will keep coming. DVLA need the registration number to take it off my address and I don’t know the number. So I am quite stuck. Anyone know how to solve this problem please?
