All documents were uploaded to the portal which really sped things up. I probably paid a little bit more than an independent firm but the service was A+.0

I used an online conveyancer recommended by the EA. Never again.
Offer accepted on property in November but only time I spoke to solicitor was mid-March when she was pushing to exchange/complete. Never available by phone and didn't answer emails. Online portal not kept up to date either.1 -

we put in the offer on 24 March and are due to complete on 21 May🤞(No chain either side).
i read somewhere that our estate agents get £300 for recommending the conveyancer - I am happy with this and sorry you did not have such a good experience0 -
I rang the solicitor. Just a very clipped call, wasn’t able to give much information As someone else had checked out the file and he was off?But all searches done on my house and with purchaser. On the house I am buying one outstanding certificate. Hopefully that means when (hopefully not if) my purchasers mortgage come through things can move quite quickly.0
