    Hmm, doesn't that count as "Auction-style listing ended early" though? I am exactly in that situation, someone has messaged me with a price I am happy with but I can't actually edit the existing listing now as there is already a bid on it. If they message back then I'll end and relist.

    Only way to do this is to cancel the existing bid thats currently on the item.
    Edit the listing to allow offers.
    Inform the potential buyer of this and let them place the offer for you to accept. 

    Before doing this be sure the buyer is definitely purchasing - if he pulls out you could end up losing a sale from the current bidder too!
