Unfortunately there's still no progress, it's being reviewed by the " medical team " apparently
Knowing how badly the office was hit with Covid - the medical team are probably still off sick. They still seem to be playing catch-up.
After nearly 18 months the Covid-19 excuse is getting a little bit tiresome.
    My opinion only.

There have been regular 4 day strikes since April. Last one was 24-28 May.

There were long delays for medical applications long before Covid.
  • I've created an account just to post here because I've had endless issues like so many of you, and have finally found the solution: Don't press any of the options, just let it go through the menu several times, and then it will put you in a queue to speak to and advisor. You might have to wait a bit, but at least you'll be in the queue, not told to hang up because all the advisors are busy. I got through on 03007906802. The first person I spoke to had to put me through to a different department, so I was on hold twice, in total for about 45 minutes. Good luck!

Still nothing. Sent it off in November 2020.
I phoned them up a couple of weeks back and they said as it's been so long they will " chase it up "
I then phoned back a few days later and they'd sent a second letter, this time to my GP to ensure I had no physical problems which I don't. GP has sent it back on Tuesday.

Phoned up DVLA again today ( seem to be able to get through now to speak to them at least ) and they said it can take up to 2 weeks to receive the post from RM. Then up to 3-4 weeks to  read the questionnaire as they receive " 60,000 " letters each day.
And then upto 10 days before it is scanned into the system.
