I still don't know what sort of analysis and management you want this tool to do. But if something called Excel pricefeed looked promising then would a plain vanilla spreadsheet like Excel or Google sheets is it, do the job because I thought you could instruct those to automatically pull securities prices from web sources like Yahoo finance, as often as you like. Never done it, but I might have heard of it somewhere.

I find the Mornngstar paid-for portfolio Xray data analysis excellent - which is fortunate as it is the only viable option for non-professionals not willing to pay professional prices. It forms the basis of my whole investment management approach. What is your problem? The subscription process itself. I've tried to subscribe twice, about 6 months apart, the second time in January. Each time I got exactly the same error as last time ("We are experiencing issues creating your Premium Account, please contact our client support team"). So the initial issue had not been addressed, despite being reported. The website didn't work, the Premium subscription was not activated ... but they still collected the money!0 -
With a simplistic portfolio, Wallmine might work.
That or go down the DIY route and use google sheets/finance?0 -

I found it does not recognise some pension funds , like from Scottish Widows , Standard Life etc

I had a subscription problem earlier this year trying to renew. A major annoyance was that the support line number is only displayed on the website if you log in as a premium member which is not much help if your subscription has expired. However googling "morningstar support line" came up with the answer. The help line was very helpful and quickly resolved all the problems.valiant24 said:Linton said:

Does your platform offer any type of portfolio analysis? Interactive Investor has a version of the Morningstar X-ray wnich I use every 6 / 12 months to check overall balance. Then I have my own spreadsheet in Excel that I update with prices weekly, and outline details from the web perhaps 4 times a year. But I'm a spreadsheet nerd, and don't like too much of my finances details spread around the web.

Fidelity does the same, but if you have other investments elsewhere you can not add them in .

I have all sorts of sipps and isas on various platforms. Fidelity and AJ Bell do have the xray, but obviously not across the whole portfolio, and iweb, embark, eqi and vanguard do notLHW99 said:Does your platform offer any type of portfolio analysis? I tried again this evening. An endless loop of getting logged out as I try to enter my credit card details. An utter, utter pile of poop!

Can anyone who does have a Premium sub tell me if it allows Cash to be added to a portfolio? The free version doesn't.
Thanks
