Given no refund as yet. The only reason for that is there is a strong suspicion on the involvement in the transaction. As they would have to back that up if it went to FOS for not refunding.
They'll presumably be liaising with the merchant to find out more detail about exactly how/where/when the payment was made, so if, for example, it was an online payment made from an IP address that you've used then that will be seen as suspicious.
The onus is on them to demonstrate that you were involved, rather than you having to demonstrate that you weren't, but the delay does signify that they feel it's necessary to keep digging....0 -
