Guys got a call from Barclays, they asked me to come branch with proof of ID, passport, driving license, council tax etc, what's all this got to do with anything why am I being dragged around.0

So Barclays called you just to ask you to go into branch with proof of ID? Or did they try and speak to you about the case and then asked you to go into branch with ID after that conversation? Have you logged a complaint with Barclays about this?I think Barclays are the only people that are going to be able to answer what is happening in your particular case. Go to branch with the ID like they have asked. And if you haven’t already logged a complaint, log a complaint.Md4751 said:mab3000 said:All these questions are asked when you initially report the fraud. Did they not ask them when you first contacted them?
Something doesn’t add up with this. You said in an earlier post that “That's what I raised it as, raised it as a fraudulent payment and that I don't recognise the payment, they put it as debit card fraud”. If this is the case, they would have asked a lot more questions at the first point of contact when you reported it other than just if you made the payment, including all the questions you say Barclays called you up to ask you 20 days later.0 -

Has the debit card been stopped?
Given no refund as yet. The only reason for that is there is a strong suspicion on the involvement in the transaction. As they would have to back that up if it went to FOS for not refunding.Life in the slow lane0 -
