Parking CCJ panicked and paid is a set aside still possible?

I've seen many posts about setting aside a CCJ if it's not paid but I did pay up thinking it was the right thing to do. I found out on Sunday that I had a CCJ on my credit record. It was a parking ticket that I never knew about and the documents went to an old address. It was the 30th day and yesterday I paid it off in full thinking that was the best thing to d but that was Day 31!! I thought from advice given I could pay it off and ask for it to be set aside but it turns out I can't and the citizen advice told me that I could beg the parking ticket people to get the CCJ off the register but they said they can't. It's wrecked my credit record which I have been so careful with as I'm a single parent so my question is this has anyone managed to get a CCJ removed in my circumstances by set aside or anything else please?

Hopefully @henrik777 will see this and advise, he's the forum expert on set asides. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think the chances of getting it set aside after paying it are non-existent.
You either pay it or challenge it. Having paid it, the ship has sailed.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.2 -
But @henrik777 doesn't agree with that view, as long as you act quickly, because the documents went to an old address so there should be grounds to set the CCJ aside even if the person has paid.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you complained to your MP?

I only saw this on Sunday so other than pay the fine which I'm so annoyed with myself about now I haven't done anything else.0

Also it occurs to me that I haven't seen the offence other than it happened outside of my ex husbands flat. I should probably get all of the details of that too shouldn't I?0

Indeed, you should do everything in your power to sort this out. Have you done any research on the internet? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

As you have called it a fine, this must be a council ticket, as private companies can not, and do not issue fines.
What council issued the ticket that lead to the fine? From the Plain Language Commission:

I have no doubt that a great many, probably thousands, of set asides against CCJs obtained by private parking companies have been set aside. Hundreds of which will be documented on this and other similar fora..
If you have a few hundred hours to spare read as many as you can find. Search here, peppipoo, Honest John, Leagal Beagles, Facebook, Mumsnet. the notomob, petroheads, CAG, , etc., etc.,etc. You will be surprised how common this travesty of justice occurs. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Send a SAR to the parking firm, as the NEWBIES thread explains, and see what @henrik777 has to say about people who pay CCJs but still want to try for a set aside. This person just got a VCS CCJ Set aside by a Judge after paying the PCN, mistakenly thinking that would remove the CCJ:
