Rejecting Now tv Broadband

I am currently 2 months into a 12 month contract with Now tv broadband. I have only been able to get WiFi in the same room as the router. I am trying to reject the service as not fit for purpose but Now tv are saying that internet speed is the only criteria they can use to waive cancellation fees. Has anyone else had these problems.
Thanks

That's a rebranded Sky Q Hub, which I believe is either an ER110 or an SR203. The wifi on most Sky routers is crap anyway. You can extend the range of the wifi yourself with suitable technology like wifi extenders.1

Did they guarantee wifi in all rooms in your property?1

As mentioned in earlier posts, the Now TV routers and Sky equivalent are absolute garbage. I would suggest getting your own Wireless Router or Mesh System with multiple AP's.

Wi-Fi is heavily influenced by what your house is made of, neighbouring Wi-Fi networks, and many other devices that use the same part of the spectrum. A ISP has no control over these. If you get internet access at speed above the minimum stated by NowTV when you signed up then they what NowTV is providing is exactly what you signed up for and you can't reject it.If you want to increase the Wi-Fi range in your property you will have to investigate and buy suitable equipment to enable this.1

It would be worth setting up your wifi before buying .Line of sight , height channels etc .1

Update. Now tv broadband have agreed to waive leaving fee as I originally called to complain with the cooling off period and only stayed as they directed me to tech support. Had to be consistent and continue the argument for them to agree.0
