Purely because UV and heat does degrade plastic over time.
I am over 70 and am sure the shed will outlive me  :):):)
  • Personally I would not get another Keter Shed as you cannot get the parts for them.  They do last a long time and do blend in with the Garden.  The problem I have is my doors blew out and smashed during the storm.  I cannot get parts.  Keter says they don't do them, so now I have to get a completely new shed.  Wooden for me this time as they can be repaired.

I understand this is an issue, but how much maintenance would a wooden shed require in that time? And what condition would it be when say 15 years old? Mine has stood for 15 years without any issues and with no maintenance required.

In much the same way that this thread had been resting peacefully for approaching 4 years with no further maintenance required :D
