Green Jem Patio Groove Medium Knife 43cm With High Visibility Orange Colour 5034537005813 | eBay

You are correct, they are not very substantial.  I’ve just broken mine and have come inside for a coffee and a break.

    This one looks better
The one you show has a weak spot near the blade.
I do wonder how you intend to use it that you need a super strength one. I have 2 neighbours that use them on the block paving and only seen gentle use. If you really want to hoik out very stubon weeds with vigour to show them who's boss it might be better to us a hand one or weed killer ;)

I used a wire brush type tool ,the brissles are slanted in over so it gets between the block paving joints, came with an extendable handle but in the end took the brush off and knelt down on a mat and did the paths and the drive ,killed my knees but i am over 70 and should know better , sorry i cannot find a picture of it but it was on Amazon and not a lot of money.

Lol Ganga, I've tried a few weed killers and such but hands and knees and a wire brush is the only thing that really does the job and saves your back.
I've got quite quick at it now :)

There's something to be said about finding a metalworks or a blacksmith and asking them to make you a custom item.

I've one I got from a local garden centre, I also have a smaller hand held one from B&Q which tbh I tend to use instead.

I tried the boiling water method recently.  The smaller weeds on the patio have kicked up their heels and the bigger ones are looking a bit sorry for themselves.

I tried a weed wand some years ago but found that it took ages to kill one weed and the gas canisters weren’t exactly cheap.  There are electric versions now but a lot of the reviews are negative and they aren’t any more effective.  I’d be interesting to hear other people’s views on this
