Improvement to Cheap Energy Club

The club is brilliant, but has one flaw. Energy companies do not inform MSE about some of their best tariffs so these can't be considered. So I get frequent emails offering me a lower tariff but when I compare the rates they are actually no better. I could unsubscribe, but better would be if members could enter their tariff details rather than just the tariff name if it is not listed.

However there is nothing to explain to new or old posters that threads covering gas and electricity should be opened in that Board.

Yes, surely it can't be too difficult to put something to that effect in the header of the page. It seems that MSE have just ignored numerous requests to make it clearer.Cardew said:JJ_Egan said:Flawed as in they dont do LPG , Oil .Wood etc as that is the section of the forum you have posted in .The OP has posted in the LPG, Heating Oil, Solid & Other Fuels. What is there to indicate to new posters that 'Other Fuels' does not cover gas and electricity?Going further, regular posters are aware, that by custom and practice, most of the threads covering gas and electricity are in the main Energy board.
