Barclaycard money transfer offer

Hi all. I've changed my Barclaycard from Platinum to Rewards and suddenly I have a new money transfer offer on it.
The transfer fee is only 2.6% which seems to be lower than any other money transfer cards advertised on comparison websites, which are between 3% and 4%.
I just wanted to ask whether some of you have ever been offered lower transfer fee than this, or if this is the best I can expect.

What other people have been offered is largely immaterial as everyone is judged on what the lender scores them internally, if I got 2% it wouldn't change anything about what you get, Barclays are not going to give you a different rate. 3.1% is mine for what it is worth but I have no use for it.1

So you have the same offer just with a higher fee?

OK, here are some examples on their website.
They say the fee is usually between 1.9% and 2.9%, so mine is actually not the best available.

But you may never get the best available - based on Barclays internal scoring factors - you might already have the best you can get.Alex9384 said:OK, here are some examples on their website.

I don't think it's anything to do with you changing to rewards card, they've just started offering money transfers againAlex9384 said:Hi all. I've changed my Barclaycard from Platinum to Rewards and suddenly I have a new money transfer offer on it.

I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.2 -
Yes, most likely. Though I had a bit different offers on the old card. Maybe I would get the money transfer offer on the old Platinum by now, who knows.Shakin_Steve said:I don't think it's anything to do with you changing to rewards card, they've just started offering money transfers again

I see in the other thread that people get offers with different fees and also different introductory periods.I think 18 months for a 2.6% fee is not bad at all.

I never had my limits reduced but all my offers disappeared. First the money transfer and then the balance transfers. Like you I was able to change one of my Barclaycards to the rewards but came with no offers. I can only look on with envy!Alex9384 said:Hi all. Yes it would seem so, 3.1% fee offer to 1/11/22Alex9384 said:Deleted_User said:What other people have been offered is largely immaterial as everyone is judged on what the lender scores them internally, if I got 2% it wouldn't change anything about what you get, Barclays are not going to give you a different rate. 3.1% is mine for what it is worth but I have no use for it.

They have upped their charges for me in general though - I get 0% for 23 months on a 3.4% BT fee (used to be 2.9%). Am paying the BTs all down though at the moment and no need to use either offer. Natwest gave me around 2/3 the limit Barclays did with a 0.49% transfer fee just in December so pays to shop around.0
