Waiting for vendors to find....

Its all very subjective really. Some people will be prepared to wait as long as necessary for the perfect house. Others (as seen on here recently) will throw a tantrum because their vendors haven't found anything within a couple of weeks.

Its difficult at the moment because in many places there is so little coming up for sale - good for selling, but not good for when you need to find an onward purchase. 

We will be in that position in a few months time and i'm dreading it to be honest, especially if we end up with impatient buyers. 

I'd agree that a month is reasonable time to ask for an update. You need to also have in mind what you plan to do should they not meet your timescales. At what point will you start looking elsewhere, or are you prepared to wait?
