Leaving Vodafone while in contract - early termination

My VF broadband contract runs out on 29 June. I'm looking around at packages and considering moving to plusnet before that date. Would the early termination charge be the whole month, or just the time from the date I switched to the 29 June? I can select a switch date in the middle of the June (and I assume thats when the new deal would start charging from?) and think it might be worth taking the current plusnet offer which runs out in a couple of days
