Can you clarify how many people at the new address - presumably less than 6?
Apologies I didn’t state this! It’d just be 2 of us at the new address so we have theorised that we’d potentially get faster service than we do right now.

Perhaps you can post the returns from the wholesale checker for the address ( a phone number is better but you won’t have one, and it has to be a BT WLR number anyway )

This is super interesting and loads more information that I’ve found elsewhere but I’m struggling to understand most of it!

Several comments about my partners work so just to clarify - he’s currently negotiating his “day” job terms as his employer is now keen to get staff back in the office so we’re not sure where he stands on that yet. He’s also going to be freelancing from home for his “fun” job so that would be on a self-employed basis. I’m also self-employed although I’m less reliant on the internet - my heaviest useage would be live streaming a Zoom class for a couple of hours for instance and I’ve managed that very well with a mobile broadband unit so far.

Your big problem is that there's a waiting list for FTTC - this means that the local cabinet doesn't currently have any capacity so you'll need to make do with ADSL (speeds under the ADSL products bit)  until either capacity is increased or somebody gives up their FTTC.

You've got the option of 330/30 if you go for the FTTP on demand option (and cand find an ISP that will put the order in for you) but that can be expensive to get installed.
