Afternoon/evening? Everyone! All seems quiet here! I've not done much today, been out and about picked up some make up brushes I've wanted for ages they are the real technique branded ones that are about £9 each and I got them in home bargains for £2 each! Got another product test coming on Monday! Also starting back at the gym and swimming properly next month. The rest of my day I plan on surveys and playing on the xbox!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Evening Jade, and anyone else who happens to be lurkingGot a few things done today, and as a bonus have spent nothing:Dog walk first thing, free exercise for all of usGave the bathroom a good clean and sorted the laundry. Not done it yet, but it is all ready.Weeded the front garden, cut off some seed heads from plants that have flowered, and filled gaps in one of the pots with seedlings I have grown myselfPrepped RM survey items for next week, and posted one due to go todayUsed up 2 black bananas to make a Mary Berry banana breadMade a mushroom risotto for dinner, to use up chicken stock from the fridge - I always seem to be using things up! There will be enough left for lunch tomorrowGot chicken breasts out of the freezer to make tarragon chicken tomorrow - the tarragon has reappeared in the garden, and I have really been looking forward to that! There seem to be 4 chicken breasts all frozen together in a lump, so I will make enough for 2 meals. The weather is still all over the place, sunny one minute and pouring with rain the next. Wish it would settle!3

Morning folks,
I was awol Friday as I spent a whopping 9 hours at the hairdressers! Totally worth it though! Yesterday was a combo of errands and knitting. I also made a pecan pie and we harvested our first lettuce!
Today I need to get things ready for next week so a bit of cooking is in order.
Can't be bothered writing much as I'm on my phone!

Afternoon allWell CLF, 9 hours at the hairdressers would seem like purgatory to me, but each to their own!Usual dog walk, tidy up etc, then got OH to help me empty a large and very heavy pot in the front garden. Removed loads of bluebell bulbs which got in there somehow - I suspect they seeded themselves as they grow everywhere out there. I certainly didn't plant them in the pot! Or indeed anywhere else. In fact I am not sure anyone did plant them - I live on the outskirts of a small town on a road that is named for the woodland that once covered it, and I have foxgloves, violets and wild garlic all growing unplanted in my garden, as well as the bluebells, so possibly they, or at least their ancestors, have been there since before the houses were built over 100 years agoBluebells split up and offered for free on FB, and loads of people want them - so I dug up another clump that had somehow made its way into the raspberry bed in the back garden. And I notice there are still more there that need to come out, but am not digging in the rain. Anyway, carrier bagfuls for 3 people, one collected already. Pleased that they are going to new homes rather than the bin
I will be offering more at a later date!
Also took big clumps of mini daffodil bulbs out of the pot, but I have planted those elsewhere in the garden. The pot now contains just a large hellebore plus some small annuals that I can just pull out when they have finished - though I imagine they will seed themselves all over the place firstHad leftover risotto for lunch, and will make tarragon chicken for dinner - must dash out between rain to pick a couple of handfuls of tarragon!2 -
Hi, everyone! Lurking and back to stay on track.
CLF, I thought my 5 hours in the salon was guilt-free enough. But I love my hairdresser so I don't mind.
The weather has me feeling a little slump as I try to figure out my options when it comes to buying a property soon. Stressful as it maybe, it has given me more motivation to be "responsible" and avoid any unnecessary purchases or bad money decisison for me at this age.
My small DFW things for the week so far:- I have been stalking my monthly budget sheet (20-something me would gasp at the thought of this).
- Continue with my two extra shifts a month goal to go straight into my savings.
- Continue overpaying my credit card, also looking into 0% balance transfers options but I'm just trying to get my head around it it's making it spin.
- Avoid, avoid, avoid - getting food in! It's been a treat during the past few months but I seriously need to cut down on it.
- I've done alright with my no CC use these past few months, I am hoping to introduce NSD days soon. Fingers crossed!
