    With mud , ice and gravel i would rather have a narrow tyre as wide tyres tend to get less grip ,on a dry road your assumption would be right

    It's largely irrelevant anyway, as the only EV I can think of that uses 'unusual' tyres is the BMW i3.
    All others use over-the-counter sizes either the same, or damned close to the same, as their ICE compatriots.
    When I bought used winter tyres for my wife's Kia Sportage, they were off a Tesla (19 inch alloys).
    My Leaf used standard size tyres, so does the Zoe/Niro blablabla
