Low cost housing doesn't come into it. According to you every house in my village with a dish must be low cost housing including the couple of £1m houses.
Cable is not, in a lot of cases, an optionNothing is foolproof to a talented fool.0 -
Have other houses in the same development fitted dishes or other things in contravention of this covenant? It is possible that the developer added covenants to control the appearance of the buildings while they were selling them. Once they are all sold they may well not be interested in enforcing them.

Ground mount: e.g. a short pole concreted into the earth just in front of the front elevation of said dwelling. (That'll teach the Covenant writer to be too specific
) Hide it behind a low fence, wall or shrub if you want as long as the dish has clear line of sight to the satellites in orbit?
Only needed if the South-SouthEast view (28.2 degrees E of due South for $ky or freesat) is obstructed from another wall that would comply with the covenant? Dishes are better low down for diy install and maintenance in my view.
Conservation Areas can have stricter rules and generally cite visibility from public roads, public footpaths and broads waterways rather than property elevations.
EDIT: This assumes that the dwelling is Freehold and that it isn't a clause in a Lease.0
