How do i leave without paying  the exit fee? My minimum term is up on the 15th of June, so do i  give notice on the 15th of May then leave on the 15th of June? My due date for my bill to be paid is 12th of June. So would i get a refund of that payment i had made?

What do i do with  a stac/pac with regards to new provider? Do i request one at time of notice, or use it at the end of the 30days?

Can I not get a new contract until after the 15th of June?

If you want to switch and keep your existing phone number, text ‘PAC’ to 65075 to begin the process.  Your current provider will reply by text within a minute. They will send you your PAC, which will be valid for 30 days. Their reply must also include important information about any early termination charges or pay-as-you-go credit balances.  You then give the PAC to your new provider and they must arrange for the switch to be completed within one working day.  This process is designed to be quick and easy, so you could request your PAC while looking for a new deal – for example, while on the phone to a new provider, or in store.

To switch and get a new number, text ‘STAC’ to 75075.  If you’re not sure whether you’re still in contract with your provider and if you would have to pay charges to end your contract early, you can text ‘INFO’ to 85075.  Ofcom have banned mobile providers from charging for notice periods that run after the switch date.

You can't give notice and use a PAC ...
    It's one or the other.
If for instance , you gave notice and then requested a PAC the notice is cancelled and you have 30 days to use the PAC....if you don't use the PAC the contract continues on a monthly basis.

Read the thread again.  This has been answered.  If you want to keep the number, request a PAC code.
Not that the 15th of June is just when your existing contract ends.  Your phone connection does not pack up and die on the 15th, it'll roll over onto another (more likely) open ended deal that will probably be more expensive.  Use the PAC code to switch provider and keep your number, it would take place next working day at around 11am.
