Training with particular family / job but done this type of work before got certificates etc, but never have i been treated this way regarding scrubbing flags like she’s requesting surly I would need training on chemicals id have to use so I presume a health and safety issue
I don’t treat people like the way she’s Treating me dreading going to work not knowing what mood she’s in she’s gaslighting me bullying me which ever way people want to take it or well within her rights to treat me like this as some people think 🤔1 -
Then focus you attn on getting out, sooner rather than later. Start job hunting tonight, good-luck.1

im currently looking now thank you for your kind support very much appreciated1 -
I don't think it really matters whether you have accrued rights or not.
This has become a toxic relationship and you need to get out as swiftly as you can and, if you take the initiative, on your own terms and own choice of timing.
Staying will be detrimental to your wellbeing and, in all likelihood, the wellbeing of the individual for whom you are caring.2 -
You must be bitterly demoralised at this awful situation, have you investigated if your qualifications transfer to a role in the NHS?

it’s something I haven’t thought about doing to be honest but that would be something I’m willing to look into thank you for that0 -
Definitely do look into NHS. Had an ever so easy 20 minute remote interview recently for Nursing Assistant with nearly 10 wards at one hospital recruiting for full or part time. I spent just under a year in dom care in a very previous life and by heck certainly wished I'd kind of read old threads before I even thought about going into the community.
Whilst both NHS interviews I've now attended have been slightly different, the one universal question in both that has been asked is what do you expect you'll be doing.2 -

Sorry to hear you are struggling with everything thrown at you. As someone who is a carer for a family member I have a good idea of what you are dealing with.
Unfortunately "carer" covers a lot of territory and a lot of people will just keep dumping more things on you that take you away from the important things like chatting to a isolated individual.
I do however get the bit about needing to get approval for working extra. Lots of businesses insist on this. And in the care industry they will be depending on their clients requesting or agreeing to the extra time which is then paid to the agency (or whomever your employer is).
The only thing I can suggest is try a different agency - there seem to be a lot of them around and a good, hard working individual should be snapped up quickly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I do think you need to try to keep things in proportion though. You don’t need training on chemicals for every day cleaning, you read the bottle the same as you would do at home.It does sound as if the relationship has completely broken down and you are best off out of there, but you risk escalating things further if you allow yourself to get worked up over the bits that aren’t such an issue. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1
