yellowlion said:Thank you for getting back, yesterday they text me about receiving the report so after a long wait she said I will receive it within 5-7 days.

When you receive it look towards the back of the report and you will see descriptors/activities and next to them will either be a tick or a dot, use the PIP descriptors online to add up any points that have been recommended, if any. Remember the report is a recommendation and any points will not be added. You may find it easier to use the PIP self test for this and transfer the dots from the report into the test and it will add up the points for you. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/pip-test

@poppy12345 thanks for the reply, do you know the timescale of the letter coming? I have been having some troubles last few months with letters not turning up, I think my post maybe being intercepted. Unfortunately I can’t currently prove it so I don’t know. If I asked them do you think they would send it through to my email address instead?
thanks in advance,

There's no timescales for anything at all when it comes to DWP or the post. Once it's been sent it can take yp to 10 working days for you to receive it. Unfortunately, they don't send letters through email. If you don't receive it in the next couples of days then ring again to request it because it may not have been sent when you asked.

Thanks everyone for getting in touch, I’ve not got my hopes up because the report is not definite, if they go with the report I will get standard care and enhanced mobility which I will be more than happy with! Thanks again!0

I've claimed PIP since 2013 and had 2 assessments. My daughter's claimed it since 2017 and had 3 assessments and they've always gone with the report. If this is a first time claim and you're not transferring from DLA then the money usually goes into the bank before you receive the decision letter.0

I really hope it goes through without a problem, I have family that also struggle day to day and they haven’t had the best of luck with the system. Again thanks for your help! I don’t know how I would have done it without the advice on this forum1
