I allowed my hair to go grey, I have grey wings and fringe, the rest is still quite dark. My mothers hair was the same, although my grandmother had the most lovely pepper and salt, she used to wash her hair in Omo and use a jug of blue bag water to rinse it!!

I got fed up with paying to have chemicals on my hair so grey it is for me.
We actually had one of those tankers with a hose to clean drains in our road yesterday - rare sight.

I've got a few grey hairs among the dark brown at 63. Mum was the same and had very little grey in her 80's, my kids are keeping their fingers crossed they'll be the same, it saves a fortune in hair colouring. Mum used to get very cross with her sisters who insisted that she must dye her hair because they were both grey even though they were younger.

And I'm completely grey, been going grey since I was twenty and about eight years ago decided to give up the yeing and after my friends made me go to a hairdresser for the first time in twenty years and she said, yes, I can see where you've been dyeing it because it's stripey, I thought, yep, better leave it to the professionals from now on.
