I’m off to see the film on Wednesday, hadn’t been warned about the tissues so will take some as it’s already an emotional week for me ……Sealed pot challenge 822
Jan - £176.66 :j2 -
@beanielou - yes it will be so nice to see them again - I find them very good company! They don't argue with you! Although Bear1 can be very stubborn at times, but this is a normal trait with this breed apparently.@milann - hopefully the meeces have vacated forever but there's still a few flies about which I'm hoping will stop now that the block has been secured! Yuk!Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 and @Onebrokelady - they love their treats! I also buy treats for their friend, the border collie who lives across the road from them, and also DD's friend's dog and cats! Her dog is a little rescue from Romania and is very sweet and friendly. However he can't play with the Bears anymore as he is very nervous of Bear1 who is very large in relation to him and nearly squashed him once!
@dawnybabes - I'm off to see the film tomorrow too! Sorry to hear that you've had an emotional time lately - I hope things are looking up for you.Today I overslept! I don't know why. 🤷♀️ I've been going through the invoices that we asked the managing agent to send us. I need to speak to my neighbour who as also looking through them as quite a few of the electricity statements appear to be missing and the figures don't add up against the year end accounts. I'm hoping to catch up with her tomorrow morning.
I popped out later as I needed more fruit, veg and yoghurt - it came to £13.60! I know it would be cheaper if I went to Aldi but when I was in there the other day I wasn't that keen on the look of some of their fruit and veg. So I'm over the monthly budget already.I had the veggie omelette again for lunch, with fruit and I'm having the last of the turkey curry this evening.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS

I bet you overslept because it was so blooming cold 🥶January spends - £587.582 -
Ahh lovely to have another trip North planned! Hopefully the weather will play ball too!
Yes - it is the house price issue that ties so many folk to leasehold properties isn't it - I know it suits a lot of people really well but in practise I really struggled with being in a situation where the freeholders could just demand money at any given moment, and a lot of the time we didn't seem to see much in return either. I feel massively for folk who'd ideally like to get out of the leasehold ownership situation but aren't able to.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

@milann - I must admit that I keep a warm flat when it's cold. I hate fervently feeling cold in my own home! All the more important to me now I'm retired and spending more time at home. The flat itself has always felt well insulated thankfully and, as I received the Government energy payment of £500 last November, this has gone towards the energy bills. However I do close my bedroom door when I retire for the night because I do prefer a cool bedroom to sleep - this and the extra cold weather must be making me oversleep!🥶
I'm looking forward to the Northern trip @EssexHebridean - it's thick snow up there at the moment though. DD's OH sent me a picture of Bear1 lying outside in a snowstorm covered in snow! He won't come in! He loves the cold weather! Bear2 will stay out as well but she does comes in eventually!😀
I do agree with you that the leasehold system is a pain in the neck!😡
And speaking of the flat situation, I spoke to one of my neighbours on the phone this morning who was having a meeting with another neighbour about it all. I couldn't join them as I had already booked to go to the cinema this afternoon but sent over the workings I did yesterday on the anomalies between the invoices the MA sent over and the year end accounts. She's going to get back to me.I went to the gym later in the morning for my half hour session. I felt much better afterwards so have increased to two half hour sessions next week to ease myself back into it.This afternoon my friend and I went to see 'One Life' and, yes, it was a blub job and we needed tissues!😭. Really lovely film though and Anthony Hopkins was so good.Today's eats were porridge and fruit plus a vegetable and reduced fat cheddar frittata for dinner with large salsa and fruit and fat free Greek yoghurt for dessert.MSE SCRIMPY THINGSToday's spends:- £20 Personal Trainer;

Does the bear take the snow inside to shake off 😂😂😂
I really do want to see that film.
Ive been feeling much more supple after the aqua sessions…I can move much better in the water. I haven’t been into the gym since I’ve rediscovered aqua. I have to modify some of the actions and use a teeny tiny dumbbell but I’m just pleased I can manage it again. I really thought my aqua days were over after my elbow surgery 😁January spends - £587.583 -
Yes he does @milann!😂. Luckily he tends to do it in the utility hall bit and then he's grabbed by OH who has the towel ready and waiting.........
Great to hear that the aqua sessions are helping you. You sound like you really enjoy them which I think is most of the battle won when humming and ha'ing over whether to exercise.👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
