Last couple of hours before I return home. This is my happy place and I can feel that any stress I had has gone . Today has been another good day, watching the swimmers in Windermere. Somehow I am coming home with a new washing basket and washing up , silly me going to the Lakeland shop.I will return later in the year , but for now it's to busy for me , the parking would have been horrendous but luckily friend has a space and hotel had a a good car park.Everyone have a lovely evening in the sun.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Can't believe I haven't posted all week. The weekend away was very enjoyable and I hope to go back soon.We have had a few family issues to deal with this week which turned out better than expected, so a good result all round. My DGS was back at school today after his class were sent home to isolate for 10 days , just after returning back to school.DGD was allowed to go to school , anyway hopefully they will get 4 weeks in school before they break up. The school has decided that they are keeping the same teachers when they move up a year to try and keep some stability for them which I think is a good idea.Payday today and money put in all the pots, bought some more premium bonds as well. Yesterday I had my tooth sorted out and am very pleased with the result , even if it did cost £300. I am claiming £100 back from my health insurance .Tomorrow I am hoping for a long walk in the local area . On Sunday I am moving to my parents for a few days whilst they are away. Looking forward to being able to sit outside if it doesn't rain. Being able to WFH makes this possible.Dinner pots to wash now.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Morning , warm and muggy today, I can't remember the last time it rained here , it must be weeks ago. We could really do with some to clear the air.A sweaty 8,000 steps done this morning , on a fairly flat walk with one hill.Just going to get the ironing board out , but a drink first.DGD is staying tonight , so want all housework done early.Have a good Saturday.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4
