I am thinking out loud and some people seems slightly upset especially when I mentioned it could be used to renegotiate the price. At least we established that it isn't a bad thing after all or anything that potentially trip up transaction. However most of us would be intrigued to find out what happened especially when buying first time.0

It doesn't affect the current value one penny - how the house compares to other places on the market now is how you decide what it's worth now, not what might or might not have happened half a decade ago.

The reason for the 'upset' is that you would be asking for a price reduction for a nonsensical reason - that's likely to ring alarm bells with the EA and seller.
They might suspect that you never intended to pay the price you offered - and you intend to use more nonsensical reasons to ask for more price reductions.
It's generally a bad idea to get on bad terms with the EA and seller in this way. Resentment tends to build up, and the seller might start to think they'd prefer to sell to somebody else who is less difficult.

If you want to make a lowball offer, you should go ahead and make a lowball offer.
Don't try and justify it with ridiculous points like this as that will just annoy the vendor even more.
At the end of the day, the vendor will accept the highest price that is offered.
