I don't see how you make it 'Nearly £3000 a year'.10 x £77.50 = £775 + 2 x £150 = £300 + Extra £100 totals £1,155 for 12 months.If you joined Dec 2019 that is 16 or 17 months ago.You need to see how many kWh you have used and the daily standing charge.0

Surely the sum is;
{10 x £77.50 = £775} + {6 x £150 = £900] + Extra £100 + Owed £1201 totals £2976 in 16 months
(assuming this is from end December to end April).Reed0 -
. I gave them my previous Kw usage
Was that based on the whole year or a sample of a month or several months equated to a whole year?
e.g. if you took a summer month and multiplied it by 12 then you would be understating your true use.
I paid 77.50 for 10 months and they put my D/D up 180.00Any increase would be down to meter readings. Did you supply meter readings (ideally monthly) or being on smart meter or where they estimates?
My contract has now come to an end and they now say I owe them another £1201 to cancel the contract. So that nearly £3000 a year. This seems incredibly high.Its not necessarily high. We pay £180pm but we are a high electric user. However, it does seem to be very out from your £77pm that you thought it would be. So, clearly there is information wrong somewhere. It may be the supplier but it may be you. We need to see what it is.
I dont know what to do... need help !!Give us your meter readings over the last 12 months and state whether they are estimates or actuals. Some of us keep a record of our readings in spreadsheets but you can either look at your bills or look on the website for your meter reading history.
That will tell us about your total usage and it will help us identify potential issues to look at.

I paid 77.50 for 10 months and they put my D/D up 180.00 I was only able to pay £150.00 plus I did pay an extra £100 to get my payments down. I've text me and they said that it's right and I have to pay. I dont know what to do... need help !!
