    Thanks for the feedback.

It is already in those instructions - see item 4 on that list.

The problem with putting the CCBC's email address in more than one place, especially more than one place in the same post, is that when it changes - believe me, it will change, it last changed about three years ago - that is yet another opportunity for guidance to get out of date.

But again, thanks for the feedback.

I have looked back through the thread and cannot see that you have counterclaimed; that is the only reason why CEL would file a defence; did you perhaps mean Witness Statement (WS)?  Have you filed and served your WS?  We don't appear to have seen it on the forum.

No I haven't filed a counterclaim I though the submitting a defence was the last of the tasks before appearing in front of the magistrate.
My hearing is on Mon  31st jan , is there anything I can do now ? Can I submit this counterclaim online or present it on the day?

Magistrate?  Who? It's a small claim...

    "Appearing in front of?"

This isn't a criminal hearing, no Magistrate; it's like Judge Rinder without the jokes or audience (and probably by phone if you've given your phone number and complied with the court directions).

No, we are not telling you to do a counterclaim.  Please read the hearing tips section of the NEWBIES thread.

Judge is 'Sir' or 'Madam'.  Usually kindly.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You have been missing from this forum for over six months.

During that six months you will have received a Notice of Allocation.

Look again at your Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.
There will be a paragraph something like:
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
    Might be on the back.
Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement and evidence.

I do hope that you filed you Witness Statement and evidence before the deadline, otherwise you will have some explaining to do on Monday.
