If it was me i would be looking to make sure everything is lined up nicely - assuming all is clear then i would be looking at the management company to refund all parking charge notices, and any additional costs and expenses and then telling them to stick their permits where the sun doesn't shine

I agree, and then sue them if not (maybe after moving out).

The Agents who signed the contract are liable for rogue contractors issuing tickets to people who are permitted to be there and have an allocated bay as part of their lease.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi all,
Sorry for the silence but after days/weeks of going back and forth, getting all my documentation, evidence in place, putting pressure on my building management - finally got confirmation that all the PCNs are now cancelled and the car lease company will now receive a refund for the parking charges paid.
Thanks for all your advice. It was certainly stressful and wasted so much of my time. So unnecessary!

Well done and thanks for letting us know.

Make sure you get written confirmation from all parties involved in the scam.
