Probably the best and cheapest way is to get a traders licence and take them to your local amenity tip.
No idea what a licence will be in your area but it is around £250 per year in my area.0 -
Thanks was going to look into that tomorrow,do they then charge you at the tip do you know?0

No idea sorry.
You may be able to get rid of some units on the like of Freegle / Freecycle / Gumtree / Preloved of Facebook.
People use them for all sorts of things.
Might be a bit of a hassle though

In council waste centres it's done by weight, different types of waste have different prices per ton.
Phone your local council or check the website for prices where you are.
One thing is for sure, it's not cheap to get rid of your waste, start by getting the waste carriers licence.0 -

Can't be charged per ton at the amenity sites in my area as they have no way of weighing the waste0

One of my clients is a general builder/joiner who does mostly small jobs (not extensions etc), and does a fair bit of replacement windows/doors/flooring etc. He just stacks up his waste from small jobs until he's got a lot and then hires a skip for it. For any jobs where there's a lot of waste, he gets a skip delivered to the customers' house and includes the cost in their quote.0
