Yes I have had a re look I almost forgot about the whole thing until today I thought life seemed a bit too peaceful..0

Yes I will keep an eye out! I have complained to DVLA and to the BPA. I have also sent a few emails to my local MP so hoping once enough of us are actually listened to, these PPCs will finally not be allowed to carry on their unethical waysCoupon-mad said:You will get it by post but can email it back to the CCBC and CEL.Now we need to ask you to do something important:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/78411172/#Comment_78411172
Do not miss that Consultation by not checking back here. This is your only chance to stop people getting a £100 private parking charge for this, in future. The Government proposes £50 (£25) but the PPCs have kicked up a stink and the MHCLG has a final consultation coming soon.Don’t let real consumer voices be drowned by PPC World like they almost achieved last year in the first consultation they were seen to have spammed. When we responded we could all see the sudden cut & paste replies in the BSI portal that showed that PPCs and friends had bombarded it in the final few days.1 -
Download the n180 , fill it in , email it to the ccbcaq email address , same as before , the postal one can then be ignored
Leave it a few days and then check the MCOL claim history , making sure it's been added to the case , then wait a few months until your nominated local court contact you by post2 -
I have had a look into the government consultation and I am reading Luke Hall my local MP has spoken out on this! Feeling like finally the government are listening!2

I believe they are, given they have already decided on a lower rate of £50 (£25).But the latest upcoming consultation is going to be important to cement under what circumstances that applies and that this is a true ‘cap’ where the only costs that can be added are under the CPRs (court fees only).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi everyone, just looking for advice. My court case went to my local county court in July. Still haven't heard anything from them. How long do you think it will be?

Dunno but if you have any non-availability that wasn't on your DQ then I'd email the court an updated list of weeks you can't do, for a hearing over the next 6 months.
That might galvanise them into action and it will make sure it doesn't get set for an inconvenient date. Think about work commitments and busy times as well as family celebrations and holidays.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hey everyone an update! I have received my letter today for my hearing for 23/03/22 on a video conference. I have emailed the court requesting it to be in person rather than video. What's the next steps in preparing for my hearing, witness statement?0

Reading other court claim threads that are nearer completion , or the completed ones that succeeded , learn from themMini2274 said:Hey everyone an update! Especially look at the witness statement bundles quoted by coupon mad , like @jrhys and @Nosy etc , so read her replies to the exact same question , preparation , reading , more preparation , learn from others , base your WS plus Exhibits plus summary costs assessment bundle on theirs , like this recent example

Update - The hearing was 28th March in person. The DJ looked at the initial PCN sent and it didn't follow the Gov guidelines so the case was automatically struck! I managed to also claim my expenditures back too! Positive outcome, thanks everyone for the help!2
