Question on Personal Equity Plan

Options
I invested maximum £6000 in a PEP (Personal Equity Plan) in 1997 in Jupiter run Unit Trusts.
Subsequently the PEP is replaced by ISA.
Jupiter does not seem to have online services to manage this investment except I could see the valuation.

My investment is still with Jupiter.
1.Could I transfer that to Hargreaves without lossing tax protection.

OR

2.Any other way I could follow to get online access ?

    Yes

    Transfer to any other platform.

you no longer have a PEP.  So, best to stop referring to it as a PEP.  It is an ISA now and that is all that matters.

If it was invested with Jupiter who were managing the investment until now.
To transfer it to HL who should I approach?
Should I write to Jupiter or HL?

You are using an old fashioned method of investing by going straight ot the fund house.  So, you are with Jupiter.

To transfer it to HL who should I approach?

Any investment platform that meets your criteria.   There are many.  Whole of market platforms offer Jupiter funds along with most/all of the other fund houses.

Should I write to Jupiter or HL?

You need to open the platform account online and the platform handles the transfer.

I have early in this year opened HL account to transfer my NatWest Self Select ISA .

Would I be allowed to transfer this above mentioned Jupiter into this platform?

You should be able to transfer any ISA /investment on to any investment platform that offers that investment .

Yes. You might need to have the Jupiter investment cashed in if HL dont cover the exact funds within your Jupiter ISA, but they will take care of that.

    Thank you for above information.

I just looked on Jupiter paperwork
My investment is held in the following by them.
    1.Jupiter European Fund Accumulation
    2. Jupiter Fund of Investment Trusts Accumulation
    3. Jupiter UK Growth Fund Accumulation
    4. Jupiter UK Special Situation Fund Accumulation
    5. Jupiter UK Special Situation Fund J-Class Accumulation

So if it get transferred, in my case to HL platform,  will I then solely be responsible for future decisions on purchase?

Yes . You can do what you want . Sell them , buy more of one than the other , buy different funds altogether etc

    Thanks for that.
So even if Jupiter is holding it in Units within in the wrapper ISA (Formally PEP) , I could transfer and continue to hold it in Units?
