Hi All, I've filed it now - I just have to wait for the directions Questionnaire from the CCBC right? How long should I wait to receive it before going ahead and downloading it on my own? The sticky thread says a week so will it be ok to do so on Monday (exactly a week after I filed the defence?)

I'd wait a couple of weeks, give the CCBC a chance!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Or maybe 4 weeks or more , there is no defined limit as such , partly down to the CCBC workload , partly due to when the claimant receives your Defence from the CCBC and files their intention to continue

The Newbies FAQ sticky thread was written pre covid19 , so assume that everything takes longer , so keep your eye on the claim history on MCOL , impatience is a bad taskmaster

Thanks all, I've received it now.
    to confirm;
no to mediation, small claims is appropriate track and no expert evidence.

In terms of witness; I had referred to HR/Recruitment in my defence but I don't think they need to be a witness? I have a timesheet I can use to confirm i was working that day  in a different location. In that case can i still just say 1 witness?
Also which county court should I put? The County Court at central london is the closest to me but do i select according to proximity or other factors?

They only ask about number of witnesses so that an appropriate sized room can be allocated.  You put whichever court suits you best.  Pick one with easy parking!  Is it likely to be a F2For a telephone/video hearing?

They haven't specified but I would prefer a video hearing if possible. Is there a way to request it?
Also I'm going to send the questionnaire back via email but can I use the email address for First Parking that I sent the appeal to? I've searched the forum and web and the only other email I found was their sales parking email

I'll send a copy to 'CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk ' right? I rather email than post which seems to be the recommendation on this forum. Is that correct?

Yes, e-mail where possible.  The address for sending documents to the claimant will be on the original claim form (there might even be an e-mail address).  Found sales@firstparking.co.uk

So I've received First Parking's reply and defence to my counterclaim.
    Listen to this nonsense...
In one line they've said that the defendant was identified by the DVLA as the registered keeper  and then in another line they say it is accepted the defendant was not the registered keeper and that they're pursuing me as the driver of the vehicle?.
How is a legal team coming up with this?! They've shared the information from the DVLA and it's a completely different name. And they've signed a statement of truth..
Also in the appeal I never stated I was the driver - the driver wasn't even referred to. My appeal I sent for my dad just asked what legal right they had to act on behalf of the landowner...
They said that I didn't send any letters asking for them to cease but I did.. I said I wasn't the driver or keeper and to stop contacting me.

When do i prepare my witness statement?
