    Sound advice from zx81 but I’d also add to write to HMRC and revoke any and all authorisation this company has over your affairs as they may very well start receiving notifications in the future about your tax affairs.

    Good advice however it may be the op has signed a legally binding agreement so any refund due, for any reason, for certain tax years is refunded to the claims company.
