02 shortcode 2424

Just had a text off 02 for 1gb data and 100 mins,for 14 days for £1. Sent surfplus to 2424. Texts come back not delivered.Other shortcodes work. Any idea whats up?

Are you sure there wasn't another digit of the shortcode alone on a final line of the SMS from O2..?

E dicky. Yeah im sure. Its 2424. But a funny thing is 20202 shortcode does not work now. The 02 sim is now in a dual sim samsung s10e now,as the second sim. Three is in slot 1,as its my main number.

Are you sure that the SMS is being sent from the O2 sim and not the Three sim.
If you have Three as the main number then SMS will use that as well.

Yes on top of the text it says 2. 2 is my 02 sim

Rang 02. They couldnt explain why the text did not send,but they gave me the 1gb and 100 mins while i was on the phone,extended it to a month,and gave me £6 credit on my payg classic tariff for the inconvinience of having to call. Pleased with that

Further to shortcodes not sending. I have swapped sims over so the 02 sim is in sim slot 1,and three in sim slot 2 on my samsung s10e.Still same result. So i put the 02 sim in my spare phone,a samsung s7. Shortcodes work again. All the text message settings are the same,in each phone. Is there another setting on the s10e i could have missed?.
