But I have never ever been told I even have a selling limit, let alone what it is.
Is it the value of items I am selling ?
No idea
or number of items I am allowed to sell ?
No idea
or number of items I am allowed to list ?
No idea
Is it a monthly limit ?
I have no idea.
If it is a monthly limit, is it every 28 days, or per calendar month ?
No idea.
Is it a yearly limit, and so I cannot list anything for the rest of the year ?
I have no idea.
Do I have a buying limit as well ?
No idea - because eBay has never told me about it.0 -
Your selling limit is monthly, as it is a new month it should now have reset. Not sure how to view your limit in the new layout but try the help section,0

The monthly limit is based on how many items you list as well as the amount you list them for. It's per calendar month.
So if your limit is £1000 and 50 items but you list just two items at £500 each, then you have reached your limits for that month. They don't necessarily have to sell as the limits are on what you list. You won't be allowed to list more than your limits allow.
eBay may allow you to request a higher limit (see blue links in image below).

I would like ‘Active selling’ at the top, but it is not, and I cannot see a way to move it like you could in the ‘old my eBay.
Anyone know please?

I've currently only got four items listed but still have to scroll down the screen to view them thanks to ebays "helpful" input on every item. Offer a discount, add details, add more pictures, no thanks, I'm happy with it as it is.

Manage active listings - eBay Seller Hub
which gives me an approximation of what it looked like before in the classic view0 -

So, if I have already sold my specified limit for April and now May
or received more money than my specified limit for April and now May.....
What is going to happen to the items I currently have listed - and some already bid on...... ?
Will those purchases be allowed to happen, or are eBay going to cancel them - because I have already exceeded my limit ?
I have been using eBay for 2 decades, and they have never contacted me about selling limits before - and I know last summer I was selling loads more items at a higher value than I have in the last few months.....
But by pure coincidence eBay change their Selling pages - and I have suddenly for the first time in 2 decades exceeded my selling limit.0 -
Why would Ebay contact you about selling limits when they are shown on your seller hub ? Have you now looked at your limits to see if you are over your monthly limits ? If not would suggest the only way to solve the problem is talk to Ebay.1

The selling limits were very prominently displayed on the old view, not sure how anyone would have missed them. Also when you first signed up you would have low limits like 10 items and £650 a month. After a while selling with no problems ebay would raise the limits and email you.1
